Computers, Printing, WiFi, and More...

Public Computers

There are seven computers available for public use. 
Children under twelve must have an adult with them to use the computers.

Internet access, OpenOffice, and more.

Printing and Copying

Copies and Prints are
.25 cents a page.

Color prints are $1 a pages.

Copies are made by staff.

Wireless printing is not available at this time.  To print in the library you will need to save your material to a USB or email the information to yourself and go to the library public computers. If what you need to print is not something you can save, then you will need to redo your search and work using one of the library’s public computers.


Fax Service

Our fax number is: 903-962-6866

It costs $1 a page to send and recieve faxes. 

Cover Sheets are available. 
No International Faxes.

Public Wi-Fi

LIBRARY WI-FI SERVICE
There is no password for the Wi-Fi at the library.  Just connect to GS-LIBRARY-PUBLIC Wi-Fi signal

WHAT EQUIPTMENT DO I NEED?
Laptop computer, PDA, or other device with a wireless network interface card and a charged battery. There are a limited number of electrical outlets available.
HOW SECURE IS THE WIRELESS CONNECTION?
Information sent to or from your wireless device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and the appropriate software.
IS TECHNICAL SUPPORT AVAILABLE WITH MY WIRELESS CONNECTION OR PERSONAL DEVICE?
For further assistance in getting connected to the library’s wireless, see an employee at any information desk.
We are not able to assist with connection problems that are due to your device’s settings, firewall or viruses.

GSPL assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for laptop configurations, security, or data loss resulting from connection to the library’s network.
GSPL is not responsible for any changes you make to your computer’s settings and cannot guarantee your hardware will work with our wireless connection.

Scanning

Scanning is available free of charge for a limited number of pages.  Scanned documents will be emailed to you. 

Mobile Hot Spots

Mobile Hotspots are available for checkout by adult patrons who are in good standing and have had a card for over 30 days.  Fines and restrictions can be placed on patrons for not following the rules for hot spot circulaton.
